Appearance;Mirage has the features of a cat, but also has the appearance of a human - in other words, an anthro. Her fur is a light brown, tan, and she had short black hair on her head, two wide parts of this hair hang by her face and end in gold. She walks upright on high heels, while her lower half of her body is in a red dress, stomach exposed, the top also in red with wide shoulders. A wide gold arm bracelet is on both arms, she gazes at you with yellow eyes, and, finally, on top of her head is a yellow cap with a small snake protruding from it.

Personality; Mirage is not your typical Disney villain. She does not want power, she is not jealous of anyone, nor does she even seem to want power... No,what makes her purr? Misery. Cities destroyed. People running and screaming in horror. Lovers gnashing their teeth in heartbreak.

She comes off as a dignified, even polite woman, but in mere seconds of getting to know her, her real motives become obvious. Not that she cares what anyone thinks of her.[Unless someone is stronger than her - then she knows to kiss some ass... and betray them when possible.] She loves to trick people,especially if it winds up in people being incredibly unhappy. She sinks ships that have treaties just to see war erupt. She offers children immortality by turning them into her slave monsters. You get the idea.

Even Iago has called her Evil Incarnate. She is a proud creature, and if things do not go her way, she will hiss and yowl and someone is going to get scratched. If you foil her plans,she will make it her mission to make your life a living hell. Friend and foe beware - this is one cat that likes biting the hand that feeds her.

Abilities/Strengths;Like her namesake, her main power is to change her appearance and voice to become someone else. Time for a fight? She also has the ability to float,traveling small spaces. She can also vanish and teleport away, usually by 'fading away'. Her final magical ability is to summon cats made entirely out of fire,to wreck havoc,or summon green-tinted lightning instead. She can also brew nasty potions to make beautiful people hideous.

Weaknesses; Unfortunately, Mirage just cannot turn into anyone on a whim. She needs to have seen them with her own eyes, and hear their voice with her own ears. Her summoning magic is also easily defeated - her fire cats by a splash of water, her lightning if her mood/train of thought is interrupted. The interruption also works if she is trying to fade away. Her own arrogance trips her up fairly well, thinking there is just no way love will triumph, or it is impossible for this plan to fail. Guess how many times that works out for her.

History; Sadly,for the many episodes that she starred in, no history was given for Mirage. However, in one of her most famous episodes, Eye Of The Beholder, there was a small insight into her past. In this episode, she challenges the beliefs of the magical blind seer, Fashir. He said love conquers and saves all - Mirage used the shows main couple, Aladdin and Jasmine, as a way to prove him wrong. She tricked Jasmine into using a lotion that would turn her into a hideous snake woman, for Mirage believed if Jasmine was ugly, Aladdin would leave her. Genie knew of a mystical tree that could cure it, and their journey began.

Mirage used her magic to try and stop them at each stop,but the heroes made to the tree - which Mirage caused to shrivel and die. She laughed in sadistic glee as Jasmine decided to leave the group due to her hideous look (oh, and the fact that now her touch as poison Nearly killed Aladdin. If you don't get the ida that Mirage i a bitch by now...) - but then was shocked when Aladdin used the lotion on himself, cursing himself so he could be with her. Fashir the winner, he cured the tree,curing the lovers, while Mirage stormed off like a hissy child. Fashir then spoke that love truly conquers all - and love would bring her back to him. That is right - apparently Mirage was not always evil, and was once in love with Fashir. Any further is debatable, though with Mirage's 'only beauty counts' theory through the episode,perhaps she left him when she discovered the truth about his blindness - that he was in fact a cyclops.

But at least we can go into the first time she and Aladdin fought. Aladdin discovered a village on fire,but as he and his friends doused it out, Mirage made her appearance. It was she burning the village, with her fire cats, and Aladdin had ruined her fun. So she made him her newest toy! She threw all sorts of illusions at him to mess with his mind, knowing his Genie would be too afraid to stop her - until,he got over it, and kicked her butt. Mirage swore revenge as they sailed away... she would destroy their home of Agrabah, and decimate everything they ever believed in!
